How do I book a ride with Green Cabs Queenstown?
You can book by calling us directly or through our iCabbi passenger app, which lets you track your driver in real time and receive fare estimates. Create a personal profile and save time for your next booking or book as a guest. You can add your credit card details through the Green Cabs to automatically charge your card at the end of each trip
Do you operate 24/7?
Yes, we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and public holidays.
Do you provide airport transfers?
Yes, we provide reliable transfers to and from Queenstown Airport. We also offer meet-and-greet services for pre-booked passengers, and we track your flight so we arrive at the correct time.
Can I pre-book a taxi in advance?
Absolutely. We recommend pre-booking for airport trips, early morning pickups, and busy periods like weekends and events.
How are fares calculated? Do you use a meter?
All fares are calculated using our approved iCabbi digital meter system, which complies with New Zealand regulations. The fare is tracked in real time on the driver’s device.
Is the fare visible during the trip?
Yes, your driver can show you the live fare on their in-vehicle device at any time, and you’ll also receive a fare summary after the trip through the app or by request.
Do you offer fixed fares?
We can provide fixed fare quotes for certain trips, such as airport transfers or longer journeys. Just ask when booking.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, EFTPOS, and major credit cards. Credit card details can also be added within the app where your card will be automatically charged after each trip. We also offer account billing for approved business customers.
Do you offer corporate accounts?
Yes, we provide business account services with monthly invoicing—ideal for companies needing regular transport for staff or clients. Create your own business profile for ease of bookings.
Are your drivers licensed and professional?
Yes, all Green Cabs drivers are fully licensed under New Zealand regulations and are committed to safe, reliable, and friendly service.
Can I request a larger vehicle or transport for groups?
Yes, we have vehicles suitable for individuals, families, and small groups. Let us know your needs when booking.
Can you accommodate luggage, skis, golf clubs or bikes?
Yes, Queenstown is a busy tourism hub, so we’re well set up for bulky luggage and ski gear. Please mention this when booking so we send the right vehicle.
Do you provide trailers?
Yes, Green Cabs can provide a luggage trailer for your bulky items. Our trailers can hold up to four bike boxes. Please advise us at the time of booking so we can arrange this.
Do you provide child seats?
Child seats may be available on request. Please advise us at the time of booking so we can arrange this.
What areas do you service?
We operate throughout Queenstown and surrounding areas, including Frankton, Arrowtown, Fernhill, and Kelvin Heights. We can drive to Cardrona, Wanaka, Glenorchy and further afield.
Do you do ski field transfers?
Yes, Green Cabs has vehicles including 4WD vehicles carrying chains to transfer you to the local ski fields.
Do you provide tours?
Yes, Green Cabs can provide customised day tours, half day tours and multi-day tours around Queenstown, Arrowtown, Gibbston Valley, Glenorchy, Milford and Wanaka and further afield.
Can we travel in a discreet unbranded vehicle?
We understand that sometimes discretion is required so we can supply discrete unbranded vehicles. Please advise us at the time of booking so we can arrange this.

What should I do if I leave something in the taxi?
Contact us as soon as possible with details of your trip. Because all jobs are tracked through our system, we can quickly identify the driver and help recover your item.
